Marion blackberries are the best because they are much larger, sweeter and juicier than other blackberries. We get ours from the Pacific Northwest, a region well suited for growing berries. The berries have a subtle tart flavor which balances their fairly earthy tones and traces of sweetness. Once paired with our Cabernet reduction, you get a rich sorbetto with strong wine notes at the finish. Truly a new level of elegance for dessert.
